Ecuadorian  Argentinean bass-baritone Oliver Poveda Zavala is earning acclaim for his deep, powerful sound, commanding stage presence, and refined musicianship.

He has appeared as a soloist with Opera Colorado, Central City Opera, Opera Steamboat, Boulder Opera, and Opera in Williamsburg, earning recognition for his expressive artistry and rich tonal warmth. A two-time winner of the Ann Logan Craft Vocal Competition, a finalist in the Denver Lyric Opera Guild Competition, and recipient of the Sherry Shepherd Sargent Memorial Award, Oliver continues to distinguish himself as a charismatic bass-baritone on the rise.
